Main Office CID are responsible for the investigation of serious and complex offences, including those with the highest impact on our communities such as Possession with Intent to Suppy Class A, Stabbings and Serious Assaults (Grievous Bodily Harm – GBH). Your local CID have secured charge outcomes in a number of serious investigations across Lewisham: Weapons & drugs: A suspect was charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis following a stop/search in Longton Grove SE26; a knife was recovered. Violence with a bladed article: A suspect was charged and remanded with ABH and threatening a person with an offensive weapon following an incident at Boundfield Road SE6. Serious assault (GBH): A suspect was charged after a victim sustained serious injuries during an assault near Northbrook Park SE12. Attempted arson with intent to endanger life: A suspect was charged following an incident at Laurence House SE6. Serious assault (GBH): In separate incidents, suspects were charged following assaults at Longhill Road SE6, Catford Broadway SE6 (aggravated burglary + GBH) and New Cross Road SE14.
